Libby Roast Beef With Gravy, as preps?
OK, change of plans on this posting. I was going to order some of these last night, and didn't so this morning I thought of you guys, so here I am.
Well they are out of stock but with the promo running until September 15, 2007 I think that they will get more in stock. Unless they are closing them out, in which case oh well I tried. So here it goes. Save $25 today when you spend $49 or more on any combination of Conagra products offered by Amazon.com. Simply add eligible products from the brands listed on this page and use the following code when you check out: SNACKS99. Here's how. Offer valid through September 15, 2007. Here is a link to all of the Conagra products. http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=amb_link...f_rd_i=ConAgra The main ones that I was thinking of were the Libby Roast Beef With Gravy, and corned beef. http://www.amazon.com/grocery-breakf...ER&brand=Libby As I recall the prices were: $19-20 on the roast beef, and $14-15 on the corned beef. Roast beef, 96 oz 6 lbs. (granted not all meat) accepting $20 on the price, that is 3.33 per lb. then half that $1.67/lb. It seems like a good deal, but I am not familiar with the product. I tried to price it here in town, but they do not carry it. Well I am sure you will let me know what you think. I have learned a lot from this site, and hope to give back in a useful way. all else fails, ctrl - z |
Re: Libby Roast Beef With Gravy, as preps?
ConAgra is a multinational food giant with products ranging from cooking oil to hot chocolate mix. While food companies are known to have a large environmental footprint, ConAgra's environmental commitment has resulted in a reduction of 27,969 tons of landfill waste, a savings of 856.3 million gallons of water, fewer packaging materials, and a saved 24 million kilowatt hours of electricity consumption. However, when it comes to factory farming, issues of consumer health and safety, and genetic engineering ConAgra has more work to do. The company was cited in a number of fraud cases, the most recent of which involved its fabrication of documents to aid in the US Foodservice accounting scandal. Health code violations at its food processing facilities have endangered consumers and in some cases been linked to deaths from bacterial contamination. Former CEO Bruce Rohde earned excessive compensation despite mediocre company performance. ConAgra's conduct shows that its innovative spirit stops short when it comes to consumer relations, resulting in adverse financial and health effects.
